Typical scenery in the north-eastern sector of this central province of South-Africa, where the main roads, between symbolic sandstone cliffs, appear to be almost endless.
Wildlife in this Free State's national park features mongooses, eland, zebras and over 100 bird species.
Vrijstaat (Free State) is de provincie in het centrum van Zuid-Afrika. De kaart toont het Golden Gate Highlands National Park met zijn typische uitgestrekte vlaktes en klippen van zandsteen.
Dit gebied is ook rijk aan in het wild levende dieren: Wildebeest, eland, springbok, zebra en een grote hoeveelheid vogels (waaronder de lammergier).
